Students

Nettleton Baptist Youth Ministry is a live and vibrant ministry, that loves to worship Christ and have fun in the process. Refuge has a long-standing tradition in the Jonesboro area for being a Christ-centered, fun-loving youth ministry. Regardless of where you are in your walk with Jesus, anyone in 6th-12th Grade has a place here with Nettleton Students. You can join our Wednesday Night Groups, our Sunday Morning discussions, or even a Strand Group*. We'll meet you and get you connected here at the church.

Our Junior High students will gather together for Worship at 6:00PM while our Senior High students meet in their Strand Groups. New students are always welcome to attend!

The roles are flipped on Wednesdays! Senior High students join for Worship at 6:30PM and Junior High students meet for their weekly Strand Group. We can't wait to see everyone!

Strand Groups

Strand Groups are based on Ecclesiastes 4:12.“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves but a cord of three STRANDS is not quickly broken.” Strand is designed as a small group time when we focus on “doing Christian life together.” We focus on Discipleship, Relationships, and Accountability. Groups are divided by age and gender.

Resources for Parents.

We're here to partner with parents in leading students to know of the love of grace of Jesus Christ; however, we more importantly want to empower parents and provide resources and encouragement as you train up your child in the way that he or she should go (Proverbs 22:6). This page provides great resources that we support and recommend to all parents, as you find new ways to love and train your students through the good news of Jesus.
