Brady Canright

Senior Pastor

Brady Canright was born and raised in Dallas/Fort Worth Texas. He graduated college with a degree in Business Management from Ouachita Baptist University , where he met his beautiful wife, Katy. Brady served as Student Pastor and Discipleship Pastor at First Baptist Church El Dorado, Arkansas, from 2009 – 2017, Pastor at First Baptist Church Greenwood, Mississippi, from 2017-2019, be fore being called to Nettleton Baptist Church in August of 2019. He holds a Masters of Divinity Degree from SWBTS in Fort Worth. Brady and Katy have three children, two daughters and a son. Brady enjoys reading, golfing, working around the house, and is a huge Cowboys fan and Rangers fan.

Cody Van Scyoc

Worship Pastor

Cody was born in Arkadelphia and raised in Nashville, Arkansas. He made the decision to follow Christ at the age of 7 years old and was baptized shortly after. He graduated from UCA in 2009 with a degree in Sociology, and he later completed a Master’s Degree in Worship Studies from Liberty Baptist Theological Seminary. His hobbies are very diverse, including home improvement projects, wood working, and music writing. Cody’s wife, Melissa, is also an Arkansas native. Cody and Melissa have two boys they love and cherish.

Brad K.

Missions and Groups Pastor

Brad was born and raised in Arkansas, but lived twenty years in Asia with his family of six. He is passionate about sharing the gospel, starting and growing healthy small groups, training leaders, and developing partnerships with mission agencies - whether in the US or overseas! As a missionary he served as a Strategy Coordinator (2001-2009), Research Strategist (2009-2018), and Team Strategy Leader (2018-2021). He has a Bachelors in Anthropology from U of A Fayetteville, a Master of Divinity in International Church Planting from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry in Missions Strategy from Gateway Seminary. He enjoys spending time outdoors, reading sci-fi/fantasy novels, and playing board games with his family.

Hunter McHam

College and Connections Pastor

Hunter was born and raised in Clinton, AR. He graduated from Arkansas Tech University with a degree in Agriculture Education and is currently pursuing a Masters of Divinity from New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary. Hunter enjoys spending time with his wife, Sarah Beth, and two daughters, Blakely and Maison, as well as training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and trail-running. He is passionate about spreading the complete joy that is found through abiding in Christ.

Michael Archer

Children's Pastor

Michael is a NEA native and has been a part of the Brookland community for 15 years. Michael trusted Christ in 1994 and within the next year fully surrendered to the calling of ministry. Michael began his ministry by serving as a worship leader at Southside Community Church in Paragould from 1995-2001. The following year, he founded Crossroads Church located in Jonesboro, Paragould, and Brookland, where he served as Lead Pastor from 2002-2020. God brought him to Nettleton Baptist Church in June of 2020 where he serves as the Children’s Pastor. Michael and his wife, Marinda, have 4 kids. Their children include: Micah Tasker (husband Noah), Maddie, Malia, and Myles. Michael enjoys being outdoors, playing sports and he cheers for the Brookland Bearcats and the Memphis Grizzlies.
